Privacy Policy

momnts ("we", "us") is a personal sports-attendance tracker. This policy explains what information we collect when you use momnts at momntsapp.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile info (name, profile picture) from Google.
• Content you create. The information you add to the app — games you've attended, stadiums, players, "momnts", favorite teams, your display name and username, and a profile photo if you upload one.
• Usage & device data. Standard analytics (pages viewed, general location, device/browser type) collected through Google Analytics to understand how the app is used.

How we use your information

• To provide the app — saving your collection and syncing it across your devices.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To send account-related emails, such as password resets.
• To understand usage and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where your data is stored

Your account and content are stored with Supabase (a hosted Postgres database). Access is protected by row-level security, meaning each account can only read and write its own data.

Third-party services

We rely on a few trusted providers to run momnts, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
• Google — Google Sign-In (optional) and Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager).
• Resend — sending transactional emails (e.g., password resets).
• GitHub Pages — website hosting.
• ESPN — public team logos, player photos, and scores are loaded from ESPN to display game details.

Cookies & analytics

momnts uses Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager), which sets cookies to measure usage. Your login session is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

Your choices

• Access & export. You can export a full copy of your data at any time from the app's backup feature.
• Update. You can edit your profile, display name, username, and photo from the Account panel in the app.
• Delete. To delete your account and associated data, email us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your stored content.

Children

momnts is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above.
